Dances with Wolves was the first film to give an accurate and sensitive representation of Native American culture.

Smoke Signals was one of the only film that was written, directed, & starred only Native Americans. 
Hollywood's Indian is a book displaying the way Native Americans are portrayed in film.


Tokala Clifford is one of many Native American actors who face difficulty because of their Native American heritage.
